The small and medium-sized enterprise sector as a condition for industrial and financial capital formation in the Russian economy

Subject The article investigates the problem of financial capital formation in the process of Russian economy development.
Objectives The aim of the study is to show that an important condition for financial capital development in the Russian economy is the formation of industrial capital.
Methods We explored the transformation of the Russian economy into the capitalist system from a perspective of the dialectical logic and evolutionary approach.
Results The paper underpins that it is possible to overcome the excessive technological autonomy of industrial enterprises and disproportions in the Russian economy through industrial capital formation. in his universal form. It shows that development of the small and medium-size enterprise sector is a major condition for industrial capital formation. The findings may be used to identify trends in Russian economic development and choose instruments of economic policy with regard to to entrepreneurship. They may also be helpful in teaching economic disciplines.
Conclusions and Relevance The Russian economy's development is possible only on condition of formation of industrial capital and development of financial capital on its basis.
