Subject The subject of the study is the problem of consolidation project management under multi-criteria estimates.
Objectives The purpose is to adapt methods of multi-criteria decision analysis for the management of consolidation processes.
Methods The methodological basis of the study rests on works of experts in consolidation, mathematical and managerial methods for solving the tasks of multi-criteria analysis, namely, benchmarking, multi-criteria utility function, linear convolution, elements of combinatorics.
Results I offer a technique of multi-criteria decision analysis in consolidation process management. It consists of proposed evaluation criteria, characterizing the strategic aspect of consolidation, economical effectiveness and the change in sensitivity of a consolidated group. I performed a decomposition of the process of consolidation portfolio management based on methods of benchmarking, ranking by utility function and combinatorics. The paper presents a broader approach to consolidation process management, i.e. from the standpoint of project portfolios.
Conclusions and Relevance The relevance of proposed methods is in objective and comprehensive assessment of project portfolios from the perspective of their utility function maximization to increase the competitiveness of the entire business structure. The results of the research can be applied by management and owners of holdings when making decisions on approval or rejection of consolidation projects.
