Subject This article deals with the issues of concession application practices and their improvement to increase the efficiency of budget expenditures using the case study of the Volgograd oblast.
Objectives The article aims to identify problems and propose measures to improve the concession application practices to increase the impact of budget expenditures in the region.
Methods For the study, I used the systems approach, comparative analysis, the methods of systematization and generalization, synthesis, induction and deduction.
Results The article reveals the current problems and shows priority directions of improvement of concession as an instrument of increase of the efficiency of expenses of the regional budget.
Conclusions The article concludes that there is a need for basic conditions to achieve high rates of use of the concession.
