Subject. This article analyzes the risks and yield of structured bonds on the Russian stock market.
Objectives. The article aims to develop proposals aimed at limiting the risks of investors in transactions with structured bonds.
Methods. For the study, we used logical, comparative and statistical analyses, as well as scientific publications of domestic and foreign authors.
Results. The article confirms the hypothesis of a decrease in the efficiency of investments in structured bonds in the context of the tightening of the monetary policy of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation due to a sharp increase in risks while maintaining profitability, which reduces the attractiveness of these instruments. The article proves the need to develop a set of measures to tighten the conditions for the investor's admission to structured instruments, as well as the introduction of a number of requirements for issuers and brokers.
Conclusions and Relevance. The article concludes that it is necessary to provide more complete information about the product, including risk notification. The results can be used by private investors, as well as management companies and investment funds when modeling investment portfolios.
