Digital transformation as a factor in the sustainable functioning of enterprises

Subject. This article deals with the issues of formation of a mechanism that ensures the stable functioning of the enterprise.
Objectives. The article aims to find options to improve the level of sustainable operation of the enterprise in the context of digital transformation.
Methods. For the study, we used the general scientific research methods.
Results. Based on a consideration of the most significant provisions of the industrialization, sustainability, and informatization theories, the article reveals their interrelations. It also notes the most common indicators of transaction costs, which can determine the level of informatization of the enterprise and set a vector for its digital transformation. Forming a mechanism that ensures stable functioning of the enterprise requires taking into account transaction costs.
Conclusions. The prospects for further research are related to the determination of new multiplicative indicators of digital transformation.
