Subject. This article discusses the issues of environmental conservation and the use of natural resources.
Objectives. The article aims to identify the structure of Internet user requests for environmental technologies, green economy and environmental education.
Methods. For the study, we used the methods of semantic analysis and interpretation.
Results. The obtained semantic maps of user requests show interest in environmental education and green technology implementation. However, there is an increased interest in environmental projects in the Southern Federal District only. An analysis of public initiatives presented on the largest Russian crowdfunding platform Narodnoe finansirovanie (Crowd Financing) indicates the need for projects related to the production of environmentally friendly products and municipal solid waste processing.
Conclusions. Insufficient involvement of the Russian population in the implementation of the sustainable development agenda may hinder the widespread use of environmental technologies.

Keywords: green economy, green environmental technologies, environmental education, user request, green projects
