Importance As the State crisis management in macroeconomics grows more important, it is especially relevant to form and specify the terminology in this area. Objectives The research aims at summarizing and evaluating views of scholars who study the concept of the State crisis management, management and public administration and specify them. Methods I studied the terms through comparison. The concept of the State crisis management in macroeconomics was formed using the abstraction and logic methods. I used a deduction method to define the State crisis management and identify priorities in applying such methods to form and specify such concepts as the abstraction and logic method, comparison and deduction. Results I formulated several provisions bringing a scientific novelty. The research substantiates the need to generate common goals for people; add management criteria; admit the need to improve objectives, rather than the process of achieving them, indicate the main objectives of public administration, crisis management, State macroeconomic management, State crisis management and State crisis management in macroeconomics; find the specifics and principles of public administration, prove the importance of detecting overt and latent crisis; switch from aspects of production, exchange, distribution and consumption of material values to social structure views. Conclusions and Relevance Those who use the definitions should reach a common understanding on them, which would completely comply with the contemporary reality. I prove that the substance of public administration should be revised.
