Efficiency rating of currency interventions at use foreign-currency baskets as monetary targets

In this work the author is reveals features of currency interventions of the Central Bank of Russia with the help of various monetary targets: mono- and foreign currency basket. The work shows the quantitative assessment of advantage of foreign-currency valuation method of currency valuation method of realization of currency interventions. The author gives the analysis of variation of the international reserves of Bank of Russia and changeability of courses of foreign currencies. The author also gives recommendations about the optimization of structure of currency basket, as a criterion of the optimization the author is based on decrease the rate of exchange.
