Comparison of the Russian public banks with European analogues: multivariate analysis based on method of principal components

In the article analysis encompassing 187 European banks is based on the methodology of multivariate statistical is carried out. The research aimed to identify internal correlation of banks` investment appeal as well as define position of Russian banks in the dedicated correlations field is presented. The special attention is paid to justification of an initial set of variables of the model accepted to the analysis.
