Tendencies of development for banking system in Russia: threats and opportunities

The article points out that the existing assessment of commercial banks activity indicates to positive tendencies of development on the main indicators: capital, assets, management, income, liquidity and sensitivity to risk. Existing indicators of development don't correspond to planned development strategy of the banking sector at the same time. Combination of strategy and tendencies of development allows developing an adequate assessment of the banking sector activity in Russia at the moment and prospect.
