Subject The article describes the sequence and streamlines basic technological factors of banking services development. The retrospective analysis and analysis of the current state of banking service development may improve the understanding of transformation processes, predict changes in the sphere, identify and steer the banking services development.
Objectives The purpose of the paper is to streamline the types of banking services, review the evolution of remote banking technologies, develop basic models of banking services.
Methods The study employs historical and comparative methods of analysis, classification techniques, modeling and benchmarking.
Results The paper presents the evolution of core technologies in banking services. I developed banking service models and their specific customer service technologies, which enable to provide banking services via all types of service channels.
Conclusions and Relevance The paper offers basic models of banking services that reflect the digital transformation of banking activities, in particular: traditional, transitive (represented in two stages), and digital models. The research serves as a prerequisite for predicting the prospects of further improvement of banking services to implement the planned development of banking operations.
