The article is devoted to the explanation of the application of manufacturing diversification policy at industrial plants to resist and increase marketability on external and domestic markets. Manufacturing diversification based on investment demands enables the solution of a number of problems, such as capital stock renewal and growth, the increase in its effectiveness and productivity, the improvement of the production capacities and the enhancement of the national economy competitive ability as a whole.
