Importance The article overviews how the level of the U.S. economic security may change if the USA participates in the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Objectives The research is aimed at a comparative evaluation of the economic security of the USA and member States of the Trans-Pacific Partnership within the economic cooperation. Methods The research reviews the U.S. economic security indicators reflecting their economic cooperation. Using statistical and econometric methods, I evaluate how the U.S. economic security may change as part of the economic cooperation. Results I propose my own approach to a comparative evaluation of the way the economic security of the USA and the member States of the TTP changes as part of their economic cooperation, which allows to identify priorities of the economic policy in the contemporary circumstances. Conclusions and Relevance As a multilateral construct, the Trans-Pacific Partnership reflects the regionalization in Asia Pacific and can ensure the sustainable development of the national economy of the USA and member States of the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement. The U.S. economic security can be presented as multiplicands reflecting the security of national economy as part of the economic cooperation. I conclude that the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement should set up new standards in line with new trends in global development, thus ensuring an increment in the economic security of the TTP member States.
