Results Analyzing risk triggers that directly affect the labor market, I find the most dangerous threats to the economic security. I provide my comprehensive view on the unemployment, study trends in the number of population and pay level. The article displays how population migration and crime affects the labor market. I conduct a comparative analysis of labor market indicators in the Republic of Mordovia and their thresholds. I assessed the severity of the crisis situation in the labor market with respect to the indicators. The article presents forecast parameters in this segment of socio-economic relations.
Conclusions and Relevance Sufficient labor force and public wellbeing are one of the drivers of economic security and sustainable development in the region.
