Subject. This article discusses the prospects for the development of Russia in the context of the demographic crisis.
Objectives. The article aims to assess Russia's capabilities in strengthening economic ties with various regions of the world.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods of neural network and cluster analyses.
Results. The article finds that the forecast dynamics of financial, economic and social indicators of countries of different regions indicates that the main parameters contributing to the strengthening of Russia's foreign economic relations are population growth rates and State budget revenues.
Conclusions. The public authorities should regulate the process of attracting migrant workers to Russia, taking into account primarily the priorities in cooperation with Asian countries.
