Subject. This article deals with the issues related to the standard of living of the population of the Kemerovo Oblast – Kuzbass.
Objectives. The article aims to assess the impact of factors reflecting incomes and population size on the volume and changes of retail turnover in the Oblast.
Methods. For the study, we used a regression analysis of statistical data.
Results. The analysis of statistical information helped identify the main economic problems of Kuzbass. The article proposes a system of interrelated indicators characterizing the level of welfare of the population of the region.
Conclusions and Relevance. Mathematical modeling helps identify the current patterns of development of the region. The results of the study can be used to develop long-term forecast parameters.
