Subject. The article addresses improving the efficiency of agricultural production. Objectives. The focus is on the development of tools enabling agro-industrial holdings to reduce risks when choosing manufacturers and suppliers in the process of purchasing agricultural equipment. Methods. The study employs methods of economic-statistical, abstract-logical, and comparative analysis. Results. We developed a methodology and determined an algorithm for selecting the best manufacturers and suppliers for agricultural equipment procurement. The algorithm optimizes costs associated with the acquisition and operation of agricultural machinery, and reduce the risk of purchasing low-quality equipment. Conclusions. The findings can be used in solving problems related to the standardization of business processes.
