Importance Russia implements a comprehensive digital transformation of its economy within the framework of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation program approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. It is necessary to analyze the impact of digitization on the stability of management of industrial enterprises' functioning and development and their condition diagnostics. Objectives The study aims to ensure sustainable operation and development of enterprises in the digital transformation of the Russian economy. Methods I employ methods of systems analysis, construction of phase portraits, and multicircuit control. Results The paper considers specifics of managing the stability of a modern industrial enterprise in the process of digital transformation of all spheres of its activity. It analyzes the most significant information technologies that can be implemented at enterprises, emphasizes prospects for applying artificial intelligence technologies to diagnose the enterprise condition and Big Data technologies to simulate its development; gives examples of phase portraits for exogenous and endogenous factors under various scenarios of production system's behavior. Conclusions To achieve maximum efficiency, digital transformation of the Russian economy should cover all areas of enterprise operations. There are additional opportunities for preserving and enhancing the sustainability of enterprise functioning and development, however, new problems arise that are related to the cost of resources for digital transformation and the danger of hacker attacks and destabilization of enterprise management. Therefore, current research should focus on solving these problems, as nowadays there is no alternative to digital transformation for further economic growth.
