Perfecting the conceptual framework for analysis of economic security of organizations involved in foreign trade activity

Subject The article addresses the development of scientific and methodological basis for economic security analysis and improvement of its terminology base.
Objectives The purpose of the study is the formation of scientific paraphernalia, including the conceptual framework for economic security analysis.
Methods We employ general scientific and scientific-practical methods, including the systems and comparative analysis.
Results The paper presents our own definition of economic security. It enables to develop methodological tools for strategic management of organization’s economic security based on the analysis of its performance, including the foreign trade activities.
Conclusions The study of approaches to determining the essence of the economic security concept used by domestic and foreign scientists demonstrated that their choice is in large part determined by the ability to develop and implement methodological tools for the information and analytical system of management functions at various stages of economic cycle.
