Cyclical patterns in modeling financial risks of priority development areas

Importance As priority development areas are established in Russia, it gets reasonable to analyze their financial sustainability assessment, formulate the methodology for evaluating the cyclical nature of their development.
     Objectives The research forges the methodology for analyzing and evaluating the cyclical nature of financial risks in priority development areas.
     Methods The research is based on the logic, economic and statistical, economic and mathematical analysis, as well as probabilistic methods of expert assessments.
     Results We propose the method for evaluating the cyclical pattern in modeling financial risks of entities in priority development areas so to assess financial risks, project risks of several steps as a cyclical multifactor model.
     Conclusions and Relevance To make the growth of priority development areas more flexible, it is necessary to conduct structural reforms in the administrative apparatus, implement a tool for monitoring financial risks and financial sustainability of companies in priority development areas and insure against risks of exogenous factors and their financial implications. The findings may be used to evaluate financial sustainability of entities in priority socio-economic development areas, and at the regional level.
