Importance Limited liability company is the prevailing form of business structure in Russia. Limited liability companies explicitly need financial resources for their current, strategic operations. In this respect, it is reasonable and important for economic security reasons to craft special tools to evaluate issues of financial resource management in relation to limited liability companies. Objectives The research devises special tools to evaluate and identify issues of LLC’s financial resource management and substantiate their practical integration into the economic security system. Methods The theoretical and methodological framework comprises proceedings of the Russian, foreign scholars, legislative and regulatory documents of the Russian Government, materials of periodicals on the evaluation and management of corporate finance. The methodological underpinning relies upon a systems, logic, process-based research methods to evaluating and managing financial resources in profit-making entities. Using methods of analysis, synthesis, coefficient and systems analysis, we presented special tools to identify challenging issues of financial resources of limited liability companies. Results The proposed tools are embedded into the regulatory and legislative framework of limited liability companies mentioned in the article. The research provides practical value as it forges special tools to identify issues of financial resource management in relation to limited liability companies, which they implement for economic security purposes. Conclusions and Relevance We devised the special tools to evaluate issues of financial resource management in relation to limited liability companies as part of their economic security. The tools include indicators of macroeconomic environment, sustainability of financial resources, state and servicing of borrowings and raised funds, efficacy of financial resources used, financial risk. The tools are designated to ensure and maintain highly effective operations under uncertainty.
