Importance This article deals with the indicator system that enables the assessment, analysis and monitoring of a resource potential. The paper considers analysis and monitoring of the Perm Krai, Tula and Vladimir oblasts.
Objectives The aim of the work is to develop an indicator system to assess the potential of the Perm Krai, Tula and Vladimir oblasts.
Methods The study is based on the analysis of scientific works devoted to resource potential of territories, the essential elements, and statistical data.
Results The article analyzes the resource potential of the Perm Krai, Tula and Vladimir oblasts by eight criteria. There is a positive growth dynamics of key indicators, including GRP. The article proves the necessity of a systems analysis and assessment of key indicators of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Conclusions and Relevance Analysis, assessment and monitoring of the resource potential of territories should be carried out on the basis of the indicator system. It is necessary to evaluate not only statistical data but also existing problems specific to various territories and the strategic development.
