Subject. The article addresses financial technologies and digital services used by Russian commercial organizations (corporations) in their operational and strategic activities over the recent five years. Objectives. The purpose is to identify areas of financial technologies development enabling to improve overall performance of organizations. Methods. The study draws on methods of systematization, expert assessment, generalization, and analogy. Results. The paper formulates the main directions of financial technologies development in a commercial organization. They are attracting financial resources through digital platforms; automation of investment management; acceleration of payments and introduction of various forms of their implementation (QR code, Faster Payments System, etc.); accumulation of data on counterparties’ payment behavior; automated tax monitoring; information systems for management accounting; automated systems for managing investment activities and logistics. Conclusions. The development of financial technologies is modernizing the traditional areas of financial and other services, where innovative products and services for end users appear. The introduction of digital services and the use of financial technologies help companies attract financial resources more profitably and quickly, accelerate the exchange of information and decision-making, and generally improve operational efficiency, as well as build more productive development strategies.
