Subject. This article focuses on the development and dissemination of financial technologies, their managerial and technological content, as well as the processes of their advancement.
Objectives. The article aims to theoretically comprehend and clarify the methodology of studying the processes of development of financial and intellectual technologies.
Methods. For the study, I used interdisciplinary and comparative approaches.
Results. The article finds that the processes of development of financial technologies imply research at the strategic and tactical levels.
Conclusions. The article concludes that at present, research within the framework of classical approaches to the analysis of the processes of development of financial technologies, based on evolutionary and institutional approaches, requires to be continued.
