Subject. This article examines artificial intelligence as a modern technological trend that intensively activates the business environment and stimulates the timely adaptation and digital transformation of enterprises to maintain and strengthen their competitive advantages in the market.
Objectives. The article aims to determine the areas of application of artificial intelligence in the field of decision-making in companies within the framework of business process regulation.
Results. Based on the results of the study, the article proposes a model for assessing the business processes of companies using artificial intelligence methods, including aspects and indicators relevant for companies carrying out digital transformation in order to improve their business models and achieve better financial and economic results.
Conclusions. The increased technological advancement and culture of companies and enterprises, the accumulation of historical data in companies, the availability of a large amount of other useful data and algorithms, as well as the growth of digital power and the reduction in the cost of cloud services can be key factors in the development of small and medium-sized companies today.
