On Necessary Review of the Ministry for Emergency Management Role in Russian Economy and Safety

Elaborated analysis given in the article proves the need to reassess the role of the Ministry for Emergency Management in Russian economy and national safety. In author's opinion, tasks, aims and efficiency coefficients of the Ministry should be based on the Ministry contribution to achieving strategic targets set by the Russian Government. Specifically, further formalisation is required for the Ministry participation in the national projects of top priority and such social and economic targets in CIS as higher health and safety level, minimization of risks and potential danger of terrorist attacks.
