Subject. This article explores the role of digital technologies in ensuring economic growth and improving the quality of life.
Objectives. The article aims to assess China's achievements and prospects in the development of the digital economy, and analyze and discuss cybersecurity issues.
Methods. For the study, I used the general scientific research methods.
Results. The article finds that China's success in the field of digitalization can be explained by a systematic approach to the development of information technologies, and the development of strategies for creating a new economy. Artificial intelligence has a positive and significant impact on economic growth.
Conclusions. The development of the modern economy requires solving the problems of digital inequality and information protection.
