Importance The article provides an algorithm for the interaction of agents in the regional system, using the employment modeling by economic activity in the Republic of Bashkortostan as a case study.
Objectives The paper aimed to develop an algorithm of distribution of agents that represent the employed population of a municipality in a regional multi-agent system, by economic activity.
Methods I used the Gale-Shapley algorithm of game theory for solving the problem of employment of agents by economic activities in the agent-based regional model.
Results I have developed and propose an algorithm of distribution of agents by economic activity that represent the employed population of a municipality in a regional multi-agent system, and a structure of the necessary statistical information as well.
Conclusions I conclude that the distribution of agents that represent the working population in a regional multi-agent system, by economic activity, shall allow one to reliably recreate the structure of employment in the region.
