Subject This article deals with the issues of development of intangible assets and human capital in the context of formation of a qualitatively new economy.
Objectives The article aims to analyze and evaluate the structure and factors of human capital reproduction at the regional level.
Methods For the study, I used the methods of financial and statistical analysis, synthesis, and comparison taking into consideration the concepts of development and improvement of economic systems presented in the works of foreign and domestic economists.
Results Having considered the characteristics of the structure of reproduction of human capital in the economy of the region and the crisis factors influencing the reproduction processes, I propose an algorithm to estimate and assess these factors.
Conclusions The results of the research can be used in optimizing the process of reproduction of human capital in regional economic systems, as well as improving the instruments of regional economic policy.
