Subject This article considers the integration function of infrastructure (transport, in particular) in relation to the industry branches, regions and areas, and its influence on formation of investment and business climate of the country and regions.
Objectives The article aims to explore the sources of infrastructure financing, methods and approaches used in the management of Russia's infrastructure complex.
Methods For the study, I used the methods of logical, statistical, qualitative, and quantitative analyses.
Results The article shows some particularities of application of the existing mechanisms of public-private partnership and different standards. It proves the need to create an updated platform for infrastructure development, development of new and improvement of all available tools on the market.
Conclusions The article concludes that the Government, reviewing its role in infrastructure development, is searching for new possibilities of its financing involving private capital and new ways of selection of infrastructure projects.
