Subject. This article discusses the issues of crisis of children tourism in Russia.
Objectives. The article aims to highlight the prospects for further developing children tourism in Russia.
Methods. For the study, we used general scientific research methods.
Conclusions. The article concludes that children tourism can become one of the areas of application of innovative technologies that contribute to the socio-economic development of the regions of Russia. Regulatory requirements for children tourism institutions are important for the development of the industry. It is necessary to determine the structure of the tourist product for children. The development of children tourism on a national basis requires a reduction in the cost of children recreation.
