Subject. This article analyzes the economic situation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Objectives. The article aims to classify the Arctic regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) according to the key indicators of the standard of living of the population. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of mathematical modeling in economics. Results. The article presents the results of the analysis of the basic parameters characterizing the standard of living of the population. It divides the Arctic regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) into three clusters depending on the value of socioeconomic indicators. The article also lists the objectives relevant to the Arctic regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Relevance. The results of the study help to determine the main areas of development of hard-to-reach regions of Russia.
