Subject. This article discusses the issues of collaborative engagement of authorities and the population.
Objectives. The article aims to develop a system for assessing the quality of life of the population, taking into account subjective and objective factors.
Methods. For the study, I used a statistical analysis.
Results. To assess the quality of life of the population of the region, the article proposes to rank the areas depending on the level of socio-economic development.
Conclusions. Taking into account the opinion of the population when designing economic development programmes will increase the effectiveness of actions to improve the quality of life in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
