Subject. This article discusses the problem of migration outflow from the Russian Far Eastern Federal District regions. Objectives. The article aims to assess the involvement of young people aged 18 to 35 in the Far Eastern Hectare Programme implemented in the Primorsky Krai. Methods. For the study, we used the marketing research methods. Results. In the period 2016–2024, there is a migration increase in young people aged 20–24 in the Russian Far East, but the total population of the macro-region is characterized by a steady negative trend. The analysis shows that the level of involvement of young people aged 18 to 35 in the implementation of the Far Eastern Hectare Programme in 2023 was low. Conclusions. Poor awareness of the opportunities and conditions for acquiring a plot of land in the Russian Far East does not contribute to the achievement of the goals of the Far Eastern Hectare Programme and does not contribute to solving the problem of population outflow. It is necessary to develop certain measures to improve the living conditions of citizens who have received the right to purchase a plot of land under the Far Eastern Hectare Programme.
