Subject. The article considers timber products as an important resource necessary for economic activity.
Objectives. The article aims to assess retrospective and current changes in domestic and world prices for timber products.
Methods. For the study, I used econometric, comparative, and correlation and regression analyses.
Results. The article shows the trends in prices for timber products in Russia in different periods of time, from 1968 to the present, and explains the correlation of the relationship between domestic, export and world prices for timber products.
Conclusions. The results of the study can be taken into account when forecasting prices for forest products in the short and long term.
